Yes, this is a sobering photo to tell the story of our current worldwide state. We are following the rules too, staying busy, trying to be productive and enjoying the outside when we can. We've had record amounts of rain in March and tonight it's supposed to start raining again for the next 5 to 7 days. I got out in the car today and drove to a field that is filled with Bluebonnets and some Indian Paint Brush wildflowers. I got some photos and then drove around about a 3-mile radius taking other photos from the car. At least it was something different to do and it made me happy. Be well and stay safe.

Well, the Governor of our state has OFFICIALLY declared a "State at home order/lockdown" starting tomorrow, Friday, April 3, 2020, at 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM for the next two weeks. Only essential businesses will remain open such as gas stations, grocery stores, hospitals, clinics, etc. Essential places of employments will remain open and those employees that have to work will be issued a letter from the employer indicating such. We're stocked up and prayed up!!

Greg & Rose, We see the same thing at our beaches because of the Coronavirus. A very nice photo you capture of this empty beach.

Beautiful landscape! Story of the world these days. At least levels of pollution are way down, so some good has come out of this horror.

Cool shot Greg. LOL on the beach. We are the same way. Just back from the grocery store which is my only foray out each week, minus yard work. :(

Funny enough, in one way it is sobering how arrogant our high tech society has become and thinks it has an answer to everything. Dead wrong ! One little virus can bring the world to its knees. One unusual fungus that would decimate the rubber trees would bring the automotive industry to a full stop. No rubber, no tyres. And so on. The world is not quite as safe as we pretend it is. They knew that in the centuries past, we however have not heeded the lessons of history. CV 19 is one heck of a wake up call.....
